Tecniagro is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement describes your rights in relation to the information we process about you and the steps we take to protect your privacy.
1) Some terms to keep in mind.
First, let us indicate what words we use in this Statement.
In this Statement we will refer to you as “User” or “You”.
When we speak of “we” or the “Company” we refer to Tecniagro, domiciled at Concha Espina 67, Local 1B. 28016 Madrid, Spain. Tecniagro facilitates different activities related to the integral management of agro-agricultural operations and technical works related to forestry and agriculture; forestry works, farm enclosures, hunting reserve management, among others (“our activities”).
2) What personal data do we collect and use?
The personal information the company collects includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Your name, surname, contact information: e-mail and telephone number.
- If you contact us, we may keep evidence of such communication;
- Any information you provide to us when you use our contact forms;
- We also collect information about visits to the Website/Portal, including, but not limited to, IP address, browser used, location, country, page views and other data communications and sources accessed. This information will make it easier for you to visit our website or Portal in the future;

The company collects and processes personal information for:

Satisfaction of the legitimate interests of Tecniagro in the exercise of its right and that of its staff to be able to develop a business that does not harm your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. Where such processing is necessary for the satisfaction of the company’s interests, we ensure that it is done in a manner that outweighs any individual interests. In this way, we ensure that these interests do not override the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
5) Do you have to provide us with the personal information we have requested?
Although you are not required to provide us with personal information, if you do not provide it, we will not be able to help you and will not be able to provide any service.
6) How long do we keep your personal information?
Tecniagro may keep your personal information for up to 3 years since you registered or last interacted with us.
7) Do we disclose information to third parties?
As indicated above, we typically disclose your information to third parties. The purpose is to be able to achieve the objectives already indicated and we do so under the following circumstances:
- To our suppliers. The supplier(s) will be subject to contractual and legal obligations to preserve data confidentiality and protect privacy and will only have access to data necessary for the performance of their functions: the most relevant suppliers are usually IT systems providers (who host or support our IT systems, which include information about you), security companies (who ensure the physical security of our buildings and therefore must know who is granted access to the building).

8) What are your rights?
- Right to access and obtain a copy of personal information.
You have the right to request information about whether we process any of your personal data. If so, you will have the right to access your personal information (via the Portal) and certain information about how it is processed. In some cases, you may ask us to provide you with an electronic copy of your information. In some circumstances you will also have the right to request the right to portability of your personal data, which means that we will provide such information to a third party upon your request. - Right to rectification of personal information.
If you become aware that personal information we have about you is incorrect, you may ask us to update or correct that information. In any case, we encourage you to access the Portal yourself and update your personal information directly. - Right to oblivion or deletion of information.
On certain occasions, you may have the right to request that your personal information be deleted. The request can be submitted at any time and Tecniagro will be the one to evaluate and substantiate whether your request should be granted. However, this right is subject to any legal requirements or obligations that may exist whereby we must retain your information. For those cases in which, in accordance with the standard, we determine that the request for cancellation of the data must be granted, Tecniagro will do so without incurring unnecessary delays. It should be noted that, once the information is deleted, the company will no longer be able to use it for the aforementioned purposes. In case you want to register again with the company, it will be necessary to provide the information again. - Right of opposition.
To the extent that the company’s processing of your personal data is based on the legitimate interest of the company (and there is no other basis for the processing) or relates to marketing activities, you are entitled to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the company’s processing of your data. - Right of limitation.
In certain circumstances, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. However, in some cases such limitation of processing may limit the services you may receive from Tecniagro.

9) IP address and cookies
We collect information about your computer, including your IP address (if available), operating system and browser type for system administration. This is statistical data about users’ browsing actions and patterns, which do not identify you or any other interested party.
For the same reason, we will obtain information about your general internet usage by means of a cookie file, which is stored on your device. 10) Marketing
We will only send you marketing communications (“marketing”) by email if you have consented to us doing so.
